Agreement and Scope
These Terms apply to Zipivo: Unzip & File Viewer for Android (package com.dreamtech.file.ziper.read), provided by DreamTech.VN, operated by Nguyễn Đức Minh. By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App.
You must be legally permitted to use the App and authorize any purchase. If you are a minor, involve your parent or legal guardian when required by applicable law or Google Play's rules.
Our Privacy Policy explains local file handling, permissions, the Vault, advertising, billing, retention, and your choices. These app-specific Terms apply to Zipivo rather than terms for another DreamTech product.
License and Acceptable Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App on compatible devices in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of your files and remain responsible for having permission to access, copy, compress, extract, decrypt, play, or share them.
- Do not use the App to access another person's files or accounts without authorization, infringe intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, or otherwise break applicable law.
- Do not bypass purchase checks or abuse advertising, rewarded-ad systems, or the App's services.
- Do not misrepresent the App as your own or remove proprietary notices, except as permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license.
Third-party libraries retain their respective licenses. Open-source notices are available from the App's Settings.
Features and Compatibility
Zipivo can browse and manage accessible files, create ZIP archives, read or extract supported archive formats, preview supported documents and media, and store files in an encrypted Vault.
- Support varies by format, encryption method, codec, file size and structure, Android version, device capability, and storage provider. A file may fail to open or render differently from its original authoring application.
- Some formats support reading or extraction but not creation. The App does not create RAR archives. Unsupported previews may offer an option to open the file in another application.
- Split ZIP creation currently supports selected individual files with direct device-storage paths, and a direct device-storage output folder. It does not support selecting whole folders or every document-provider location.
- All parts of a split archive must be preserved with their names and kept together to extract it.
For the split ZIPs created by the App, open the final
.zipfile. - Device storage, Android restrictions, permissions, and storage-provider behavior can limit an operation even when you have Pro.
The availability of a feature is described in the App. Pro does not promise support for every file, unlimited physical storage, or compatibility with every device or third-party application.
File Operations, Deletion, and Backups
Compression, extraction, copying, moving, renaming, exporting, and deleting can change files or their locations. You are responsible for choosing the intended source, destination, conflict handling, and deletion options.
The App includes verification and cleanup measures, but you should keep independent backups of important files and check output before deleting originals. Operations can fail or be interrupted because of storage limits, revoked permissions, device shutdown, damaged files, provider errors, or other conditions. A deleted or overwritten file may not be recoverable.
Options that delete originals or remove Vault files apply to the items you select. Deletion does not guarantee secure erasure from flash storage, backup systems, recipients, or third-party providers. Archives and media obtained from others may contain harmful content; Zipivo is not an antivirus service.
Vault and Password Responsibilities
The Vault stores encrypted files locally and depends on your PIN and device-bound keys. It is separate from adding a password to a ZIP archive. You are responsible for keeping your PIN and archive passwords safe and keeping recovery copies of important files outside the Vault in a secure location.
We cannot recover your Vault PIN, archive password, or lost device keys. Confirming Reset vault through the forgotten-PIN flow deletes the Vault's stored files and creates the opportunity to set up an empty Vault. This is not a password-recovery service.
Clearing App storage, uninstalling, device reset, or loss of required cryptographic keys may make Vault data permanently inaccessible. Vault data is excluded from the App's configured Android cloud backup and device-transfer rules. Do not rely on the Vault as your only backup.
ZIP encryption can leave file names visible. Files kept outside the Vault or exported as ordinary files are not protected by Vault encryption. Encryption and PIN protection cannot guarantee security on a compromised device or with a weak or disclosed credential.
Free Features, Ads, and Optional Rewards
The free version provides supported core file operations and previews and can show ads. Some advanced features require Pro. The free Vault has an item-count limit shown or enforced in the App; Pro removes that count limit while active, subject to available storage and technical limits.
Where offered, you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock password protection for one archive creation. This is not a permanent purchase or a general Pro entitlement. Access is granted only when the ad service confirms the reward; cancelling, an ad-load failure, or simply displaying an ad does not earn a reward. Reward availability can vary or be disabled.
Ads and linked offers come from third parties. Those offers may have their own terms and data practices. Pro disables the App's ad placements while an active entitlement is recognized; it does not remove content already included within a file you open or control another app's advertising.
Pro Subscriptions and Google Play Billing
Where available, Pro is offered through monthly or yearly auto-renewing Google Play subscriptions. Both periods unlock the same Pro benefits: disabling App ad placements, password protection without a per-archive rewarded-ad unlock, split ZIP creation when technically supported, and removal of the Vault item-count limit.
- Price and renewal: the local price, currency, billing period, applicable taxes, and any other purchase terms shown in the App and Google Play's checkout apply to your purchase. A yearly subscription is charged for the full yearly period.
- Payment: Google Play handles payment. Auto-renewing plans renew and charge for the next billing period unless cancelled under the terms shown by Google Play.
- Pending or failed payment: a pending purchase does not unlock Pro until Google Play confirms it. Entitlement may depend on successful payment, refunds or revocations, and applicable grace-period or account-hold status.
- Restore and verification: use the App's restore option with the relevant Google Play account. Internet access and periodic Google Play verification may be needed; indefinite offline Pro access is not guaranteed.
Pro is access for the paid entitlement period, not a new lifetime purchase. If Pro ends, free-tier limits and ads can return. Existing Vault files are not automatically deleted because Pro ends; the App limits adding further files above the free allowance rather than withholding access to existing files that you can otherwise unlock.
Cancellation and Refunds
Manage or cancel your subscription through the App's Manage subscription link or Google Play Subscriptions. For instructions, see Google Play's subscription cancellation guidance.
Uninstalling Zipivo, deleting its data, or resetting the Vault does not cancel a subscription. Cancellation normally stops future renewal while you retain access for the period already paid, subject to Google Play's purchase status and applicable rules.
Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and Google Play's refund policies. Cancellation is not itself a refund. Contact us if you need help identifying an App billing issue. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer or refund rights.
External Applications and Services
If you choose an external viewer, share destination, cloud storage provider, advertisement, or website, that service has its own terms, privacy practices, and technical limits. Exporting or sharing may give that destination access to the selected file or a copy.
Google Play, Google advertising and consent services, Android, and storage providers may be unavailable or impose restrictions outside our control. We do not guarantee the availability or behavior of third-party services.
Availability, Warranties, and Responsibility
We aim to maintain a useful and reliable App, but do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free processing, exact document rendering, recovery of damaged archives, or prevention of all data loss. Features and compatibility can change as the App, Android, and service providers evolve.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is supplied "as is" and "as available", and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses from use of, or inability to use, the App. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees or responsibility for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other protected claims.
Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive mandatory rights. Where a local law gives you stronger rights, that law applies to the relevant issue.
Updates and Changes to These Terms
We may update the App and these Terms to reflect changed features, services, or legal requirements. The revised Terms will appear here with an updated date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where legally required. Changes to an existing paid subscription's price or renewal are subject to Google Play's applicable processes and the rights required by law.
