Future Me — Fake Call & Fake Chat

Last updated: March 13, 2026

Developer: Nguyễn Đức Minh (DreamTech.VN)

Future Me is a simulation app that lets you create fake calls (voice & video), fake chat messages, and scheduled reminders — all for entertainment and personal use. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, why, and your choices to control it.

Future Me does not make real phone calls, send real messages, or connect to any telecom/OTT network on your behalf.

1Data You Create in the App

The app lets you enter or create content for simulation purposes, for example:

All simulation data you create (contacts, chats, reminders, voice recordings) is stored locally on your device only. We do not transmit this data to any external server. However, third-party SDKs embedded in the app (described in Section 3) may independently collect device-level data as outlined below.

2Device Permissions & Purpose

Future Me requests only the permissions necessary for its features. Below is a complete list:

Permission Purpose
CAMERA Display a real-time front-camera selfie preview (picture-in-picture) during fake video calls. The camera is used for live preview only — the app does not capture photos, record video, save camera data to storage, or transmit camera data off the device.
RECORD_AUDIO Record voice messages for scripted and live chat conversations using MediaRecorder. Audio files are saved as .m4a (AAC) to the app's private cache directory on your device. These files are never uploaded, shared, or transmitted. They are automatically cleaned up by the operating system when device storage is low.
VIBRATE Vibrate the device when a fake call rings or a fake message arrives.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS Show notifications for incoming fake calls, fake messages, and scheduled reminders.
USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT Display the incoming simulated call screen full-screen (including on the lock screen) for time-sensitive, user-scheduled fake calls and reminders. Never used for advertising, promotions, or unsolicited notifications. On Android 14+, this may require explicit user approval via Special App Access; if denied, the event appears as a standard heads-up notification.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK
Three foreground services use mediaPlayback type: (1) FakeCallService — plays ringtone audio while the incoming call rings; (2) ReminderAlarmService — plays alarm-style audio for scheduled reminders; (3) ScriptedMessageService — plays notification audio for each scheduled chat message as it is delivered in the background. All three services require the ability to play audio while the app is not in the foreground.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM Used to improve timing accuracy for user-scheduled reminders and fake calls. If this access is not granted, the app will still function, but scheduled events may occur with slight delay.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Re-schedule your reminders after the device restarts. Only used to restore reminders you previously created.
INTERNET
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Load and display advertisements; verify in-app purchases.
WAKE_LOCK Required by the Google Mobile Ads SDK to complete ad loading in the background. Not directly used by app code.
AD_ID
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*
Serve and measure advertisements via Google AdMob. The Advertising ID is resettable and deletable in your device settings.
BILLING Process in-app purchases (remove ads / unlock features) through Google Play Billing.

The app does not request access to your contacts, location, call logs, SMS, or photo library.

3Advertising & Third-Party SDKs

Future Me displays advertisements via Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). The SDK automatically collects and may share the following data with Google:

This data is used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, and is encrypted in transit via TLS.

Ads are never displayed on the incoming call screen, in-call screen, or any full-screen intent notification. Ads are only shown in standard app screens (lists, settings, etc.).

For details, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising ID

The Advertising ID is a unique, resettable, and deletable identifier. You can reset or delete it in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.

Other SDKs

The app also uses CameraX, ExoPlayer (Media3), Glide, Lottie, Room, and Hilt for on-device app functionality. Based on our current integration, these libraries are not used by us to independently collect or transmit user-created simulation content.

4User Consent (EEA / UK / Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the app (and advertising partners) may display a consent flow before serving personalized ads or using local storage, as required by applicable law.

5In-App Purchases

The app may offer purchases to remove ads or unlock features. Transactions are processed through Google Play Billing; the app processes purchase status to grant the corresponding entitlement (ad removal / feature unlock).

We do not directly collect or store your payment information.

6Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

7Data Retention & Deletion

Your Simulation Data

Stored locally on your device in a private Room database and internal file storage. The app explicitly disables Android Auto Backup (allowBackup="false"), so no data is backed up to Google Drive or any cloud service. You can delete it at any time by:

Voice Recording Files

Stored in the app's cache directory. These files are automatically deleted by the OS when device storage is low, or when you clear the app cache / uninstall the app.

Advertising & Diagnostic Data

Managed by Google according to their data retention policies. You can:

8Data Security

We apply reasonable security measures to protect your data. All user-created content stays on your device. Data collected by the advertising SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9Children's Privacy

Future Me is designed for a general audience and is not specifically directed at children under 13.

10Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

To exercise these rights, adjust settings within the app or contact us below.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features, advertising, or legal/platform requirements. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and/or notified within the app.

TTerms of Service

Please also review our full Terms of Service, which governs your use of the App and includes important sections on simulation nature, prohibited use, user responsibility, intellectual property, liability limitations, and more.
